For a half-acre lawn, choose for the actual yard—not just the 0.5-acre label.
Segway Navimow currently lists the H220 for lawns up to 0.5 acre. Its H2 platform combines LiDAR, RTK and vision, making it a useful reference point for medium lawns where obstacles or positioning conditions matter.
| Model | Rated area | Navigation | Published max slope | Best starting fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Navimow H220 | 0.5 acre | LiDAR + RTK + Vision | 45% (24°) | Medium, obstacle-dense or positioning-complex lawns |
When 0.5-acre capacity is enough
If measured mowable grass is comfortably below half an acre and the steepest section is within the mower’s published capability, a 0.5-acre model can be a logical fit. Keep additional headroom when mowing windows are limited or the property is unusually complex.
When to move up a class
Move up if the actual grass area is near or above the rated limit, if the yard has demanding slopes, or if you want more capacity margin. Navimow’s X Series covers larger properties, with current X4 models starting at 1 acre.
Five checks before buying
- Measure actual mowable grass.
- Measure the steepest required slope.
- Assess trees, buildings and sky visibility.
- Check narrow passages and separate zones.
- Compare price and warranty only after fit requirements pass.
See the size guide, navigation guide and Yard-Fit Framework for the full selection process.
