At one acre, terrain can matter as much as capacity. Navimow currently has two distinct 1-acre approaches: the newer X430 4WD and the X330 rear-wheel-drive platform.
| Model | Rated area | Drive | Published max slope | Navigation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Navimow X430 (X4) | 1.0 acre | 4WD | 84% (40°) | NRTK + 360° Vision + VIO |
| Navimow X330 (X3) | 1.0 acre | Rear-wheel drive | 50% (27°) | NRTK + 300° Vision + VIO |
Choose X430 when terrain is the hard problem
The X430 is the stronger specification match when a one-acre property includes steep grades or difficult terrain. Navimow publishes an 84% (40°) maximum incline for the X4 platform and uses four-wheel drive.
Choose X330 when the lawn is large but less extreme
The X330 is also rated for one acre, but the X3 platform uses rear-wheel drive and carries a lower published maximum slope rating of 50% (27°). A lower headline slope number is not automatically a disadvantage on a flatter property.
Do not choose from acreage alone
- Measure the steepest required section.
- Check trees and buildings that may affect positioning.
- Map narrow transfers and separate zones.
- Confirm the exact regional model and current availability.
- Leave capacity margin when the property is close to one acre of actual grass.
For extreme grades, read our steep-slope comparison. For the full process, use the Yard-Fit Framework.
