For a quarter-acre lawn, capacity is only the first filter. Terrain and navigation can make two similarly sized robot mowers very different fits.
This guide uses current manufacturer-published specifications. It does not claim hands-on testing. Prices change, so use them as current reference points rather than permanent rankings.
| Model | Rated area | Navigation | Published max slope | Current positioning |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Navimow i110 | 0.25 acre | RTK + Vision | 30% (17°) | Lower-cost entry for relatively straightforward quarter-acre lawns |
| Navimow i210 AWD | 0.25 acre | Network RTK + Vision | 45% (24°) | Better starting fit when uneven terrain or additional traction matters |
| Navimow H210 | 0.25 acre | Current H2 premium line | Verify against exact regional model before purchase | Premium 0.25-acre option; compare navigation and feature needs rather than area alone |

The i110 is rated for 0.25 acre and uses RTK plus vision positioning. It is the simpler starting point when your lawn is within the capacity limit and does not require the stronger published climbing capability of the AWD model.
The i210 AWD is also a 0.25-acre model, but its AWD platform is published for slopes up to 45% (24°). That makes it the more logical model to investigate when a quarter-acre lawn includes uneven ground, roots, transitions or steeper sections.
Do you need exactly 0.25-acre capacity?
Measure mowable grass rather than property size. A quarter-acre residential lot often contains a house, driveway, beds and hardscape, so the actual mowing area may be well below 0.25 acre. Conversely, a complex lawn near the mower’s maximum rating may benefit from extra capacity headroom.
Choose in this order
- Measure actual mowable area.
- Measure the steepest required section.
- Check trees, buildings and other navigation constraints.
- Check passages and separate zones.
- Compare current price only after the mower passes those fit checks.
What about 0.37 or 0.5 acre?
If your measured grass area is clearly above a quarter acre, move up rather than designing around the limit. Navimow currently lists the i215 LiDAR for up to 0.37 acre and H220 for 0.5 acre, while its X Series covers larger properties.

Verification notes
Model availability and specifications were checked against current Segway Navimow manufacturer pages in October 2026. Regional variants can differ. YardFit Mower does not infer missing specifications and does not rank a product higher because of an affiliate relationship.
